Why threads from G.S. are not on Hot Topics?

Why threads from General / Generally Speaking are not on Hot Topics column?

You really should put threads from GS on the Hot Topics column, as there are a lot of great discussion material. Forums users are missing a lot of them right now.

GS used to be in HT, so did most other forums. hot topics is configured not to show certain forums, and GS is one of those.

Do you mind elaborate more on why GS would not be allowed to show topics in Hot Topics, if it contains alot of very entertaining and hot threads?

it's not on the list along with all the other General forums, because the topics bar is meant to direct users to threads and subforums in the discussion/more topic-specific forums which they might otherwise miss or not necessarily pay attention to. GS, PEOO, BC and the likes are all very general and the threads there aren't usually very interesting to noobs.
