What can rainycity do in Los Angeles

I need to know what places would be safe for a tourist and what places should be avoided. I think ill stay clear of most mcdonalds since most attacks on worldstarhiphop seem to happen there, defiantly no kfc. What are some good places to check out, eat, sleep, clubs to hit up, Fun places to go. Probably dont want to meet up with fellow members of zoklet but ill see. Ill be heading there in 2 weeks, probably be there for 3 days.

Cool. It's right across the alley from The Roxy, there's usually something going on there most nights, and it's walking distance from The Viper Room and The Comedy Store - so you'll probably find something around there to keep you amused.

That's why I keep trying to get any of the few interesting people left on this Earth (who I am in contact with) to band together with me in a total and permanent retreat from this world but apparently none of them have the initiative to join me. Meh, LA is okay. It just doesn't seem to have much soul in it, though, and especially not compared to great American cities like NYC, DC, Boston, Seattle, SF, and so on. It's just like this generic strip mall in a nice climate that attracted millions of people.

Yeah hollywood has some good places to hang out, but its busy as hell, and if you look like a tourist and youve been drinking or som,ething, mexicans will rob you.

5. Lakers game
6. Depending on your level of tolerance- Olvera street
7. Pasadena has Norton Simon museum- great little place to trip
8. Hollywood- bars- walking- Amoeba music
9. Catalina
10. check out the graffiti in the reservoir
11. Universal city
12. Alpine village in torrance

Honestly...I dunno. We dont DO anything in Los Angeles. We drive around, spend a hell of a lot of time in traffic, wait in long lines listening to the screams of one families 9 mexican babies. We root for whatever team happens to be winning this year....
