I wouldnt call it particularly enjoyable. Its really really spacey, I was just generally out of it. At the highest does I took I saw a figure made of squiggly blue light. I wasnt scared or excited, I just saw it. No euphoria to, seems to really dehydrate you and I I had to take a guess Id say its probably really bad for you. not worth trying
the benadryl bandit might tell you something different though. to each his own I guess

50-150mg can be pleasant. Don't go for delerious hallucination doses. The hallucinations are inseparable from reality and may be scary. You will be severely dehydrated, have extremely restless legs, and be paradoxically unable to sleep. Read Erowid to see how not fun anticholinergics are.

Me and my friend did over 1000mg once. Like someone else said I wouldn't describe it as good or bad really. I forgot how to talk for about 2 hours like I'd open my mouth and nothing would come out. I'd describe it as a very gritty high. Also makes my mouth dryer than shit.

This, I can actually get some decent euphoria off them. You know nothing outrageous but a pretty good feeling. Easily equal to most benzos ive tried.

Just got loopy and sleepy off the 150mg. Don't want to risk a high dose, and all this really gave me was a good night sleep

The 300mg just made me really relaxed and tired. I didn't see any visuals or hear any sounds. I stayed up about an hour after it kicked in but got nothing so I went to sleep.

If you are looking for a real "high", diphenhydramine sucks dick. But if you're looking for some nice mild calming effects, it's not all that bad.

I once got close to having some serious hallucinagenic effects, and it wasn't pretty. Fortunately I didn't hallucinate spiders or anything like that, but I did see silhouettes of people in my house who weren't there. Pretty creepy. That was at around 400mg, which was very foolish because it's not very good for your system at those amounts.

Instead, I frequently take 150mg when I need it. I take them in the form of the Kroger knockoff of Unisom extra strength; that way I don't take in extra useless/harmful shit like acetaminophen. At that amount, it helps me relax and lose a decent amount of anxiety. If you can appreciate mild effects like those, then diph ain't bad. As a hard drug, it's god awful.

I don't take it as often anymore(used to be daily) for a few reasons. While I never experienced an "immunity" to it after repeated use, sometimes I would have this opposite effect where it would make me tired but I couldn't go to sleep. This was probably because the quality of sleep you get on diph is rather poor. Also, I noticed that diph had caused me to gain some weight over time. I abstained for almost a month and lost about 8 pounds with no change in diet or exercise. Nowadays, I just take diph when I feel like I need it.

There are three major types of hallucinogens. Psychedelics are one, like acid, mushrooms, DMT, etc. Then there's dissociatives - ketamine, DXM, PCP, MXE, and more. Finally, you've got deliriants. You never ever want to trip off of a deliriant. Plants like datura contain deliriants, presumably if animals eat them they either die or wander around fucking miserable for a few days - a survival mechanism. (I'd hold that entactogen-empathogens compromise their own class of hallucinogens, but that's neither here nor there.)

As far as the effects you can expect from a deliriant trip, well, I won't waste time just reiterating the wikipedia page. If you've ever had a high ass fever though, well I imagine it to be something like that. Confusing as hell, and pretty miserable, especially with the dehydration. Not to mention high dose benadryl is fucking TERRIBlE for you.

Don't expect to enjoy yourself though. And don't think it's gonna be a high by any means. At sub-hallucinogenic doses, the sedation might be a bit fun, and I can vouch for it's effects with alcohol as being enjoyable when you do it in reasonable doses (3-5 shots, 100-150mg). That was mostly just confusing as fuck though.

I have experience with benadryl aka bennies.

Long story short, you feel 99 years old, your heart hurts sometimes, you usually cannot wait for it to be over, when you are waiting for it to be over you have the constant need to stretch you legs and you can never attain comfort. I wouldn't really call it being high, more of not being sober but still shitty.

I would usually take 400-600mg and just get fucked. Now I have some stories:

One time my friend was laying face down on the floor, got out his phone, put it to his ear, mumbled, threw the phone to my feet and said there was a dog on the phone for me.

Another time I ate about 20 25mg bennies and drank a standard sized bottle of robitussin and it was probably the most fucked up I have ever been on cough medicine, I would lose my breath, couldn't focus on my myspace (long time ago), and when I was sitting there in my basement I couldn't feel my hands not even when the girl I was with was rubbing/canoodling them, apparently I came down.

Also me and the same people from above were driving with another kid, we took like 18+ 25mg bennies each and started driving around (lol) and I just remember them starting to kick in and about the same minute the kid driving knocked off a mirror of a parked car (1am or later), he stopped, then I was like "what are you doing drive away lol"





Should you experience it? Maybe.

Yeah you do, I had a bad sleeping problem (for real) and kept popping those fuckers and drinking vodka in the hope it would just make me pass the fuck out.

I had not slept more then a few hours in about a week, not drug induced...just plain old innsomnia.

Before I knew it the house was being surrounded by hellicopters and a swat team.. In my head of course.

It wasnt pleasnt and there was people in the house telling me there was nobody outside... I was fucked.

I'm a long time acid user of the 80's and 90's and I have never felt so out of control.

I did it when I first started using drugs. It's lame and I wouldn't reccomend it. Too anyone that likes it I suggest shooting some dope or smoking some crack. Then you can see what a real high is and you'll never wanna abuse benadryl again.
