This happened in Houston.

A year or two ago a teenager (suspected and later convicted of burglary) was beat by some HPD. Curb stomped. Thrashed. Fucked up.

Well, it got caught on video. So several officers were fired, and the first criminal trial just ended in an acquittal for one of the officers.

Of course the "black community" is having a shit fit.

(Can I pause here and point out the racism of people fighting racism? You don't see a "white community" out there trying to right wrongs. Why? Because they'd be called racist.)

Anyway, some NBUF and New Black Panther party members decided to block the entrance to the DA's office because they wanted to meet with him. The local "activist" was there along with an outspoken lawyer:

Community activist Quanell X and local ministers met this morning with Harris County District Attorney Pat Lykos to talk about a jury’s decision this week to acquit former Houston police officer Andrew Blomberg of any wrongdoing in the 2010 videotaped beating of a black teenager.

The acquittal has sparked outrage in the black community with many leaders saying the decision by the all-white jury to acquit Blomberg, who is white, was racist.

Former city councilwoman Jolanda Jones and members of the New Black United Front expressed anger this morning because they weren’t in on the meeting. Ministers James Dixon, Robert Muhammed and James Nash also attended the meeting.

Members of the NBUF, an organization which includes social, political and religious sections of the black community, and the New Black Panther Party were seen blocking the door at the district attorney’s office. The activists were already lining up bail bondsmen in case they were arrested.

At one point Jones could be seen arguing with Quanell because she wasn’t in the meeting with Lykos. Quanell has not yet spoken about the meeting.

After the meeting, Lykos issued a statement: “I met with the ministers today to discuss the law and the criminal justice system. We had an open and candid dialogue. The ministers shared their concerns, and I listened. I expressed my thoughts as well. Although we disagreed on much, we agreed to keep the door open for additional discussions. People must have trust and confidence in the legal system. It is vital that all the people of Harris County know the mission of the District Attorney’s Office is to seek justice.”

Activists, meanwhile, are continuing to block the door at the district attorney’s office, refusing to leave although Lykos says she won’t have a second meeting today. Harris County constable deputies have arrived, presumably to arrest activists who won’t leave.

Missing Lynette White files in Britain's biggest police corruption case found
Documents about Lynette White that were thought to have been shredded, leading to the collapse of Britain’s biggest police corruption trial, have been discovered.

The case against eight former detectives who were accused of fabricating evidence in a murder trial was halted in December after the prosecution told the court that documents requested by the defence were believed to have been shredded.

The case cost an estimated £30 million and took almost 10 years to come to court. The eight former police officers along with two others were acquitted.

But the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) said last night that the documents had not been shredded and were still in existence.

The Crown Prosecution Service is demanding to know why South Wales Police wrongly told prosecutors that documents had been destroyed.

Sarah Green, commissioner of the IPCC, said: “The Independent Police Complaints Commission has verified that the documents that the trial at Swansea Crown Court was told may have been destroyed have been discovered and were not shredded as first thought.

“The court was told that some inquiries had been made about documents relating to complaints made to the IPCC itself and that it seemed that these documents may have been shredded on the orders of South Wales Police’s senior investigating officer, Chris Coutts.

“The documents were found in the original boxes that the IPCC had sent those files to South Wales Police as part of the trial disclosure process in 2009.

“These boxes were still in the possession of SWP and have subsequently been verified.” The case concerned the detectives’ role in investigating the murder of Lynette White, a prostitute was found in a flat with more than 50 stab wounds in 1988.

Three men were convicted and spent two years in prison before being released on appeal.

In 2003, Jeffrey Gafoor, a client of Miss White, admitted murdering her and is now serving life.

His admission was the catalyst for an investigation into the officers in the original case.

Ten defendants went on trial accused of bullying witnesses into agreeing to fabricated accounts of the killing.

A spokesman for the Crown Prosecution Service said: “While this is clearly a significant discovery, it is for the IPCC to determine the circumstances and conclude their investigation.”

A South Wales Police spokesman said it would be “inappropriate to comment” due to the IPCC investigation.

It was unclear whether the officers would be retried following the abolition of the double jeopardy law. Retrials are allowed only if there is new and compelling evidence.

tl;dr: basically ten cops stitched up 3 guys for the murder of a whore. years later it comes out and the ten officers are put on trial for perverting the course of justice and fabricating evidence. during the trial the south wales police turn round and say they've lost all the papers and evidence to the trial. the ten cops get acquitted through lack of evidence. after they are acquitted the south wales police turn round again and say 'oh sorry, its not lost, it was here all the time in these boxes'. like they think we're all fucking stupid or something.

And the chief of police testified that he thought the officer had kicked the 15 year old. That is why some of the officers were fired.

Who gives a fuck what head nigger Quanell has to say? The New Black Panther Party is a black separatist hate group. Nothing they say has any merit; and should be dismissed immediately as pro-nigger hate talk.

The fact that the DA met with the NBPP is proof that he is utterly and hopelessly retarded. Thats like a white DA meeting with the KKK. Its unacceptable under any circumstances.

I hate NBPP as much as the next guy, but his name is irrelevant. He identifies with the black community, so he's a radical black community activist, albeit a racist one.

As for the pigs, they should be strung up with the rest of those that overstep their authority and decide to declare open season on black and latino kids.
