Doing nothing

I'm recovering from surgery. My girlfriend is at work and my roommate is out of town.

I've been sitting around all day taking painkillers, smoking cigarettes, and playing video games.

It's nice once in a while, but making this kind of thing a habit is dangerous.

This used to be a habit for me when I was unemployed. I was bored to the point of depression after a week.

i'm a student and it's summer...

doing nothing is great when you have money because you can affort lots of drink and drugs, but when you've got little it's just a drag. all i'm doing right now is playing counterstrike source, smoking ciggies and drinking beer. hopefully i'll have a full-time job soon and this period of time will just be a lazy memory.
