i dunno... when i blaze it -- i like shutting the fuck up and listening to music or whatever... i get pretty anti-social but i don't care about that being because being stoned as fuck is incredible... it's worth putting off certain social-situations.

it wasn't always like this, though... when i was 14 and got high it usually got me on the social, talkative side... 11 years later and now it's the complete opposite... it's like i've heard everything that needs to be heard and have said everything i've already needed to say.

A friend and I once got baked while on a trip to Chicago, I just wanted to go back to the hotel and watch tv and eat a shit ton of food, but he was all eager and antsy, so we ended up walking around Chicago at like 11 PM. It was pretty epic, though. We had wicked cotton mouth and couldn't find a place to get drinks for what seemed liek forever...and then we saw it, like the fucking holy grail, a 7-11. It was sweet seeing the lighted up city at night while high, too.

Kicking it with a few close friends and generally doing stereotypical stoner shit is great from time to time.
The herb is definitely not a social drug unless you only toke a tiny bit or have some sativa magic.

I used to be really quiet when I would get high, like not say anything at all unless spoken to where I'd mumble out 2-3 words.

But I've been smoking for almost 6 years and I don't get like that anymore. I just realized it's more fun talking. And for some reason weed doesn't do the same effects for me. I smoke better quality over the years to.

I think it's mostly the person and not the high that changed. When I was 17 and got high I found everything fascinating and fun to analyze and be interested in when stoned. Like look around and think about how to improve or change things in buildings and shit with a smile and deep in thought expression.

These days I just get high and talk about random shit but it makes people laugh and I have more fun talking.

fuck i need to travel or something to get that spark back, I just find it hard to be as interested in stuff as I used to.

This, but if i get really high I just think I sound like an idiot but i really don't.

It's kind of like high dose dxm trips where your vocal patterns and though processes are totally skewed, but sober people would never know youre high. That shit always blows my mind when it happens.

I really enjoy getting stoned and talking/having fun with friends. I also enjoy spending some quiet time with myself when I'm high. They both have their pros and cons.

On one hand, you can sit there and be like "Man, I wish I had someone to talk to." on the flipside you could also sit there and be like "Damn, I wish he/she would shut the fuck up."

DXM inhibits my social anxieties and makes it easier for me to talk to girls. The only thing is I have no sex drive while I'm on it but sometimes that works out.

I'm the same way man. It helps to hang out with people who also do that or just understand that you get quiet when you smoke. It's a buzzkill when you're with lame people who don't get that and make you uncomfortable. Sometimes I'll just leave the smoking group and go to my room if I'm at my house, and my friends know I'm not being rude they just know I'm high as fuck and going to play video games because I'm bored... lol.

Me neither, weed isn't a social drug at all for me now unless benzos are involved. First couple of years getting high like 14/15 I could laugh and talk shit with people but would rather just play video games or listen to music on my own now.

If I'm around people I'm already uncomfortable around, my already sub-par social skills will decline and I'll be introverted. I'll be focused on how uncomfortable I feel, and that'll make it hard for me to think of anything to say.

But with friends, it doesn't really affect how much I talk.
