Don't talk to me about spamming old man. The only thing we ever hear out of your mouth is daguru this, daguru that. Seriously die already. Every time I start to think I am ok with you, you pull some shit like this that makes me want to just crush your liver spotted old bald head underneath one of your wheelchair wheels.

Nice, mine has air holes, finger grips and a hole for hanging though.
Yours is prettier though.

It's pretty because I spent more time sanding and finishing it than cutting it out. And it certainly helps when you start with a pretty wood like Russian olive to begin with.

Nope. I was on the short list to become one, but there were already enough moderators. Then totse died.

Re: Welcome to DIY's new mod
Good, I've been wondering why she hasn't been since I found Totse.
Now if I can only find a nice girl who likes to build cool shit in real life... ah well.

I always assumed Spatula declined modship.
Is that the case?
cuz it would be surprising that it was never offered.

A female mod of DIY? Awesome, now be sure to have a man sweep up the pieces of that glass ceiling.
Cheers.

Re: Welcome to DIY's new mod
I already gathered the pieces, and started grinding an edge. I'll post pictures of my glass knife soon. I'm making one out of acrylic too.
I was next in line to be modded on totse, but BB and DIY were slow forums, and really had no use for more than one mod. But, I'm here now.

Bamboo is also an option. I saw on tv some tribe in africa shaves their heads with bamboo razors and does ceremony circumcisions with them too.

Re: Welcome to DIY's new mod

Here's my acrylic knife. It's a pain to cut out, but so far it's coming along nicely. The handle will be wrapped in fancy leather.

Here's a laptop touchpad I made. I used eucalyptus burl veneer, and polished it ultra smooth. It still works great. Well, as great as touchpads can get, which is pretty awful.
