Is 10 years too big of an age difference?
Is a 33 y/o F too old too "old" for a 23 y/o M? Going by the "your age ÷ 2 +7", I just barely made it.

10 years is too big of an age in general.

Re: Is 10 years too big of an age difference?
Too big of an age difference for what? I mean, there are 80 year old men marrying girls in their 20's. It's certainly not illegal or anything, it's just a matter of personal preference. If your 23 year old man is comfortable being with a 33 year old, then you're golden. I really don't see why it would be a big deal. I've personally never been with a woman more than a year or two older than me, but i would be open to trying new things certainly.I really don't know what you're asking tho.

Re: Is 10 years too big of an age difference?
My personal record is a 20 years old gap.
10 years can work only don't expect it to last -that- long. It has about 1% chance of becoming a stable long-term relationship since both parties have different mindsets and interests.
I'd say between 30, 40 & 50 it can work since both are past the "fucking around" stage of existence (well usually) but between, say, 17 & 30, 10 years mean a SHITLOAD of experiences.

I had sex with a woman 15 years older than myself. I wouldn't go out with anyone that old though, unless she was filthy rich.

It's too big an age gap when she's *older* than you

That equation is supposedly the ideal age for a woman, from a man's dream perspective. It's not to do with any social measure of acceptability. I personally (as a 21 year old man) wouldn't go for a woman 10 whole years older, because I very much want to have children (but not yet), and I don't think the window of opportunity is particularly good for that in this scenario. But, that's just a concern of me personally.
On the whole, I would say it depends on what age the people involved are. At 23 to 33, I think that's alright. 17 to 27 seems a lot worse, for sure. I will say though, it'l probably not be long lived. I don't know why, but older male/younger female seems to be more workable (or atleast prevalent) than the other way around.
Why not though? Go for it.

Fuck whatever "rules" you people make in order to feel okay with your morality.
When it comes down to it, in the United States at least, the "age of consent" is set to a pretty good age (in my state it is 17) to where someone is competent enough to make decisions based on sex. As long as you are above that age of consent, and aren't fucking retarded, then it's fine to fuck whoever you want.

Yes and no. I'm currently 28 and dated a 17 years old at the beginning of the year. While the age gap "can" be worked around since being older you're often more secure and can distill some "wisdom", you're most of the time limited to a "problem solver".
You live alone so it's all hype for them, usually are bound to no "real" rule, giving them a taste of freedom (plainly just the ability to act tough by telling their parents to fuck off), taller, stronger, you just have to raise your voice a little bit to intimidate and send the brats who annoy her running AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, you raise her OWN confidence level because "dating some mature stable guy" gives her shit-tons of bonus points with her female friends.
Now on the other hand, there is not much you can *really* share besides cuddles and sex. Her interests are, as all teenagers except in very rare cases, limited to being popular, getting wasted and doing stupid shit. There is no way you can have even a semi-intelligent discussion about anything AND you will be constantly sollicited to fix "problems" she ends up creating out of thin air.

Although I am no one to judge, because at 21 I dated a 17 year old, but why at 28, would you want to? I understand wanting younger girls, because that is usually what I go for. Not saying it is wrong, or bad in any way, but for what reason would you want a girl that young? I am genuinely curious.
If it is just for the younger, tighter, wetter, more energetic pussy then I get it. In that case, I'd much prefer to just fuck the girl and not date her, because like you said they are generally all about being retarded and getting fucked up.

Re: Is 10 years too big of an age difference?
My wife is 7 years older than me, but we have a beautiful relationship that has always worked out for us. Never do we compare ages, we just see one another as equal and love each other.
There is no reason it couldn't work. I'm proof of that.

No real reason, I don't care much about age in general (my oldest being 48 and "median dating age" around 30), it's just a question of the "vibe" i'm getting.
The girl came to a party at my place, was drop-dread gorgeous, had a strong character and it just so happened we liked each other physically (and of course there was the whole "he's stable living alone that'll rid me of all the kids hitting on me" thought on her part.
Figured I'd give it a shot because heh, you never know...

No. It really doesn't matter, and I've had fun with girls 20 years older than me, literally just for the experience. (This one chick even lived in Alaska for 10 years, she had such an amazing personality) When it comes down to it its not really about them its about you: Do you or do you not want a relationship, kids, marriage, a type of girl to go in the field on a starry night penniless and just talk and make love, or a classy wine and dine nightly rich chick?
In my experience, until you declare these things to yourself, on what level you want to be involved with a woman and the type, her age or anything won't matter until you know what YOU want. Then date whoever you want
Except your mom...
