No, My idea was if you were to get caught. You should if possible avoid hitting that same store again. If you have to go back, I would give it 3 to 4 months maybe.

Sometimes, they will issue a little letter saying your banned from walmart for life. And if you come back, they can also get you arrested for tresspassing.

just reviving this thread, how does one know if hes 100% good to go (or at least as close to 100% as possible). like as in youre good to leave the store with the goods and not get stopped.

look around to see if workers are a little suspicious and watching you.
see if they are silently talking into their radios after looking at you.
check the exit towers if there are workers just hanging around waiting to detain you.
always try to observe the behavior of the workers, are they doing their normal job routine?
if not maybe they are walking around and seem to be wherever you go, maybe pretending to price scan things.
you should be be able to tell if there in a change in the atmosphere around you and at that point you should either take things out and make it seem that your intending to pay. Then maybe just put the things back onto a shelf but not trashy because it shows that you really were intending to steal but bailed.
Just nonchalantly put things back onto shelves and leave with a phone out.
It is true that someone who is on the phone is a lot less suspicious than a person who is looking shifty all alone.
