Default hard drives for cash

There was a article online not too long ago where a government contractor was selling off used hard drives and someone managed to recover sensitive data "was in the dailymail"

Many idiots think delete or format means your data is gone.

My friend got her hands on a cheap 320gb wd drive today and is running easeus recovery on it

wonder what she will find.

if you brought hard drives cheap, scanned them ,copied what you wanted ,then sold them for a profit ,any data worth keeping would be a bonus.

last data my friend got ,she managed to get personal data and info which could be used to gain employment she got product keys and personal photos "some nude ones" too

Cool. Now try blkcalc/blkcatting the data directly.

Laptop or Desktop hard drives would be worth buying, not external drives.
