My friend did it last summer. He's Russian, with no Jewish ancestors and he was able to get a free trip to Israel as a part of their youth program.

I'm thinking I could get a free ticket to Israel, and have a cheap ticket from Israel to a country in Europe like Greece.

Anyone else tried or thought about this?

I havent heard of this before, but it may be true. Israel offered Jews living in Iran $10,000 to come live in Israel. The Iranian Jews were like "Fuck you Israel"

There's a youth program in France organized by an association called "Taglit". They offer a 10-day trip to Israel (airfare, transportation, hotel and some meals) to Jewish people between 18 and 26. The hard part is to trick them into believing you're Jewish.

I don't know if this program/association exists in North America.
