Most heartwarming thing somebody has done for you?
One of the things I miss about being a human being is the feeling described as "heartwarming" (the warming of the heart).
My story takes place several years ago, when I was backpacking around Europe. I was gone for months, and wasn't sure the girl I was dating was still interested in me, or if she had moved on when I was gone. I sent her a letter telling her to tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree if she still wanted to be with me.
On the bus ride into town, I prepared myself to see if there was a ribbon tied to the tree. And what did I see instead?
A hundred yellow ribbons on that old oak tree.
That fucking bitch wasted so many ribbons, so I beat her senseless later that night. Fucking littering for one thing, and I'm pretty sure her mom needed them since she was a fashion designer. Seeing her all bloody with tears in her eyes warmed my fucking heart, Ill tell you what.

That's the problem with being a robot. I have no sense of humor, and yet I want to make jokes. But ultimately, who cares?

Not to me, but one time I seen this teen walk past a homeless man asking for change, he walked past and into a pizza place, and came out with this big fucking slice of pizza and gave it to the bum. Just as the bum went to accept it, teen purposly dropped it on the sidewalk and told him "eat your meal, dog" then he watched as the bum picked pieces of peppironi out of the dirt and pop them in his mouth like it was a fucking holiday ham.
The teen may or may not have been me.

No if you had been around a year ago blunderfuls posts were all about pathetic attempts at girls
Then he like gave up or something and started making posts about how women are useless or something that was clearly a result of his frustration at failing with them
He needs to get positive again and keep his head up

Re: Most heartwarming thing somebody has done for you?
I lost my wallet and my girlfriend made me a new one out of duct tape and decorated it with my band's logo.
Also my dad asked me and my brother what we wanted to be when we grew up and I said "a transformer!" and my brother made fun of me and told me I couldn't be a transformer. Then my dad came home and slipped me one of these and told me "you can be anything you want"
And then he took me out back to "beat the faggot out of me" and it warmed my heart.

My professor replaced my feeble, human organs with technological equipment. I am also used as a storage device, for example, cold drinks. Would you like one?

Re: Most heartwarming thing somebody has done for you?
Ok honestly, the nicest thing someone did for me was last year. I had lost my wallet out of town, about 100 miles from where I live, it had my ID, bank card, all that shit, $200 and some personal effects in it, pretty big loss for me at the time, I was bummed out. I went back home and about a week later I get a call from some guy, he had found my wallet on the sidewalk outside his house. He got my name, called like 5 people until he tracked me down, then got ahold of me to let me know it was safe. I made plans to go down there the next week and get it, but like 3 days later, he shows up at my apartment, he tracked me down again, made a special 200 mile round trip, it was like his #1 priority was getting me my wallet.
He was some old fellow, in his 70's, I got he feeling he didint have much family or anything, seemed pretty lonely, so I paid for his gas, tried to give him an extra 50 but he refused, so I took him out for lunch at this buffet, he really seemed to enjoy the company.
Normally something like that might seem a little creepy, with tracking me down and all, but the guy was just a genuine honest man trying to do the right thing and get a little human contact. I got to know him a bit over lunch and we became kinda friends, I visit once and a while when im in town, he tells me storys about his army days and whatnot and he helps me fix up my car sometimes, he was a mechanic for a while.
I had almost lost faith in mankind but this guy showed me that there is still a ray of light where real, decent honest people exist.
Ive done a kindness before too, though it was less then the other one. I found a set of keys while riding my bike down this jogging path, I didint know how to find the person who owned them, so I went and made a little sign that said "Found keys here, green keychain, call 123-4567 (my cell number clearly wasnt that but like I want yall calling me) for return, and put it in the grass near where I found them. The path was pretty populated, a number of regulars come up it every week but I figured it was a long shot but worth a try.
I got a call I dont know how long after, but it was long enough I forgot about it. Some guy had dropped them while jogging and it had his car, house, work keys on it and a bunch of other important ones that he didint have copys of. He was very happy and impressed with the sign idea, tried to offer me some money but I also refused, I was simply trying to do the right thing and "pay it forward" if you will after I had my wallet returned to me, that changed my attitude.

Re: Most heartwarming thing somebody has done for you?
Helped allot of cars out of snowbanks and shoveled allot of driveways for old folks... Even picked a guys truck door for him when he locked himself out on a back country road with the truck still running trying to take a piss... Still have the company whiskey glasses he gave me.
Sometimes people do good things... Other times I'm a right rancid asshole.
Like the time I pissed on my buddy truck got his girlfriend drunk and got her to puke in the back of his truck.
Also sexed some girlfriends of friends.
I've beat my fair share of people and given my fair share or wrong directions... All really seems what type of mood I'm in and if your mannerisms make it worth my while.
Never took money for a good deed though.
Al

Re: Most heartwarming thing somebody has done for you?
Ok, so an actual story of kindness here. I was a pretty big loner in high school, everyone thought I was weird or whatever(they were probably right). I had some paperwork to do for some teacher but it wasn't related to my grades or class or anything, it was some kind of forms. I had no idea how to fill them out or what to do with them and for no reason one of the popular girls (you know the type, chearleader, pretty, everyone likes her kind of girls) came out of nowhere and grabbed some of the papers I had and with a big smile helped me fill them all out and walked with me down to the office to get them faxed even. She did this all as happy and kind as a person could get, I told her thank you and that I appreciated the help. She gave me a hug and told me no problem. She would always smile at me in the halls when everyone else would ignore me or hell sometimes even run away.
I wish everyone could be as kind as her. I try everyday to make sure I make someone smile thanks to her.
