They used to make anesthetic mixtures with it:

Yeah..I think the alcohol had very little effect here. If it did, the Ether+Chloroform probably completely overpowered it anyways

You can also take a shot glass full of vodka and place it over your eyeball. This will also get you drunk this doesn't mean however that it's a good idea.
