^^Came here just to say that. "The Witches" was an early '90s film.



Kind of geared towards kids, or at least I thought until I saw this. But it's really not that bad.



Blair Witch 2 had quite a bit of occult stuff going on in it. I'd also add the fake documentary they did for the first flick. That shit was good and actually had freaked me out a bit more than the movie.

MacBeth made use of three witches as supporting cast to the story.

Elvira's first movie ultimately had her using magic in a similar role.

The Craft comes to mind.

The part where she floats across the room with her toes scraping across the floor was cool. Can't remember about the rest of the film, but that was a very witchy thing to happen me thinks.

This one is not about witches. It's a made for tv movie based on a comic book about a cop who finds a gauntlet (the witchblade) that gives her superpowers. You could argue that this is a witch story but then I would argue that Venom, Spawn and the darkness are witch stories too.

I saw the first one and it was pretty good. Basically about two guys that were friends in school that were fighting over the same chick. One guy married the chick and the other guy got successful and rich. The rich one visited during a party and brought over a Ouija board and demonstrated how he could summon the spirit of a boy. Then eventually an evil spirit get summoned by accident and people start dying.

I remember one time when I was small a local grocery store had a video rental service and we'd get a movie every time grocery shopping. I had picked out The Land before time or some other awesome shit and when we got home and put it in the VCR it was some soft core vampire porn.

Thought of another one called "The Woods". It also has Bruce Campbell in it, but he doesn't appear til the later half of the flick. I wouldn't say it's great, but maybe worth a one time watch.
