some people (really sick ones) kill for sport..

IMHO, it's a relatively recent mutation of gene/s. If you could go back to when our ancestors evolved, you would most likely be hard pressed to find people who killed for fun. Killing for food//resources, or to defend territory/women? sure. but to kill for sheer sadistic joy? That sounds to me like a terrible way to expend one's precious energy
