Stealing Starbucks cards

Idea: They have cards at the counter at Starbucks and if you took these, registered them (With phony info) and used them for a free birthday coffee would this work or do they need activated over the counter? I have an actual Starbucks card and had to register online and think they would just scan like normal.

If this works enjoy free coffee


PS: Most stores have the cards just sitting about

Protip: Don't use them at the same store more than once a month and NEVER with the same employee, especially if you use the store often.

Why don't you just get a couple, card them, then replace them.... all but one of them. Use it to write the correct data too. Its "Carding" but with a twist.

I like that idea.


Another one would be buying a bunch and putting $1 or whatever the minimum you can and than you could do the birthday thing, if you buy expensive coffee that could save a lot in the long run.

On the websites for different restaurants you can sign up for a free birthday meal. I've never had any place actually check id.

To the best of my knowledge Starbucks requires a Starbucks card for a birthday drink.

While my friend could care less for the coffee, If someone got details for many cards they could check the balance everyday and when money is added use the Starbucks app on there smartphone to spend the money.

Well, I meant some restaurants in general, I don't know if Starbucks does it but you can get free birthday meals at Ihop, Baskin Robbins, etc.

Apparently some people steal Starbucks cards and only charge a few coffee's here and there, I can't find the article.

This isn't meant to be a lucrative thing, just getting free coffee when you want it.


Either way making coffee at home isn't nearly as good as Starbucks.

I worked at Starbucks, and I would never want to drink anything from there. The filters that were in our machines were beyond gross.
