Thumbs Up RCBS customer support.

Last year I bought a used RCBS auto 4x4 reloading press. When I got it, it needed a little tlc and was missing some parts. I called RCBS to get the replacement part and the pieces I was missing. When I called I got a computerized prompt with only two options. And within a minute had a live American non towelhead sounding operator on the line. I told them what I had and the part numbers I needed. They took my address and told me everything should be there in a few days. Even though I told them I bought the press used and some of the items I wanted were lost they considered all the parts warranty and didn't charge me a dime.
So needless to say, my next reloading equipment purchase will be an RCBS.
The reason I bring it up now is that I just finally went to switch over to loading something that used large primers and realized I accidentally ordered a small primer seating plug instead of the large primer plug that I was actually missing. I called them back up and they had one at my door within 3 days at no charge.

How is it any different from someone buying a car that still has 10,000 miles left on the factory warranty. If their stuff has a lifetime warranty, it's no skin off your ass. The freebies they gave me is just good business. It may have cost them a total of $3.00 to hook me up with the couple of small parts

Most of my reloading equipment is RCBS. I've always found them very helpful and professional. Lee is a pretty good brand too IMO.

I use Lee because I'm a cheapskate, but from what I have seen RCBS dies have nicer features when it comes to adjusting them, plus their lock rings are superior to the o-ring setup Lee uses.

Aside from the Lee Factory Crimp Die and Lead Pots and Molds, most of Lee's stuff is nigger rigged and you have to learn little "tricks" to make it work.
