GTA IV opinions?

My favorite in the GTA series by far.

The Ballad of Gay Tony is the only DLC worth getting. Lost and the Damned sucks.

As far as I know multiplayer is still online, I saw a friend of mine on it two weeks ago. I doubt it's offline since then.

Decent but flawed. Lots of flaws actually. The missions are repetitive and the diversity of gameplay is lacking. Personally I prefer San Andreas.

The physics system is a step in the right direction, but the on-foot controls are terrible.

Typical mission: Meet contact, steal car, drive around, kill a bunch of gangsters, kill target/let target go, evade/shootout with cops, total your car and die in a wreck or get shot to death.

Best one in the series so far. Yeah the missions get repetitive, but that's true for all the GTA games. The only thing they got rid of that I miss were some of the minigames.

The game GTA IV is good.

I played the Lost and the Damned, and it was nothing compared to GTA IV.

I didn't play Ballad of Gay Tony though.

The storyline for GTA is amazing. Some missions are fucking hard because of shit controllers, but that's expected of a GTA game.

Part of the DLC is okay.

The multiplayer is alright for about the first 15-30 minutes. Games like GTA shouldn't be based off multiplayer mode alone, but by the depthness the story has.

So yeah buy that shit. If you didn't beat San Andreas buy that first and beat the fuck out of it.

I hated it. How dare they take out my cheats? My favorite thing to do was arm everyone, have them riot, and cruise around in my tank blowing up cops and shit. But no, they got rid of that.

Saints Row is better.

I enjoyed it at first but got bnored quickly when I realized that every mission was the same thing over and over. Kill somebody/chase somebody down. It also lacked the fun shit to do besides the main missions that vice city and SA had. The shitty handling of the vehicles also pissed me off to no end. Seemed like you spun out no matter what.
