91 camaro

baught it a few weeks ago, coast my whole paycheck, the add on craigslist was for 1,300 obo. the add said it needed a new timing chain, and i talked to the guy via txt a bit i asked allot of questions, he said his friend who is a mechanic said the timing chain probably broke and i could have ruined the pistons somehow i asked my step dad about it and he said that the V8 is a non interference engine and the timing chain was probably broke.. we went to check it out, and the guy tried to start the car and my step dad whispered to me "its just a broken flywheel" i jumped between then and told the guy it was a bad transmission, he said its a aftermarket transmission that's less than 6 months old, i told him thats shitty but ill give you 600 and a xbox 360 for it, and he said ok. its an RS, the rebuilt engine has less than 30,000 on it, newish transmission and its never been repainted but the paint is fine, its solid black and has a flow-master exhaust. has a 350, v8.. and tomorrow im buying the flywheel.. woohoo!

A 3rd gen is like Rodney Dangerfield, it's a bit overweight and gets no respect. Actually they're in the mid-lower 3xxx lb range, which isn't THAT overweight. They're a decent chassis for upgrading, if only because of the engine...

But yeah, $600 and an xbox is a damn good deal if it's in the shape you say it's in.

this car isnt bad and i do LOVE meth fyi.. this is my second car my other car is a 99 jetta.. but i actually like my camaro more.. there's allot of power behind it, i think it looks pretty fuckin cool, with the flomaster exhaust and 350 sounds amazing.. love it..muffins mom loves my car too.
