Three years old and outdated, I have a MASSIVE FUCKING WRITE UP of social engineering I will post here ASAP, i.e., as soon as I finish it, but it's fucking awesome. Anyway, this is the one area (other than Photoshop) that I excel at doing shady shit at, if you have any questions, please ask it here. Hopefully we can get some good discussion going.

Thank you kind sir(s) for your appreciation, I'm actually on quite a roll with writing out various stuff at the moment so I'm hoping to get this out by the end of the week. And yes, I've kind of neglected my dear old Bad Ideas as of late, but my excuse is that I've neglected my entire fucking life except for trying to drink myself to death for the entirety of 2012 so far, now I will attempt to balance my self-destruction with at least spreading whatever is left in my brain to the legions of awesomer-than-average legions that manage to find a place such as Zoklet.

Hey STD. Talking about Social Engineering.. Let's use a few hypotheticals and how you'd amass your details/get enough to get the level of access you wanted.

A hosting account as an example.
My character used to SE card information off amazon, and then just call up using a CID spoofer and get a password reset over the phone.

Do you have any tips/tricks that may aid the character (Laffy) in improving any chapters of this book?
