Same difference. At this point I mainly feel bad for the dad having a death on his conscience regardless of its justifiability.

Grand jury decides the death was justified! Jusitce!

lthough the father is named in the 911 tape, the Advocate is not using his name to protect the daughter's identity because she is a sexual assault victim.

McMinn said the girl suffered physical injuries that were noted by the sexual assault nurse examiner and that the injuries were "absolutely consistent with all of the witness statements."

"I need an ambulance. I need an ambulance," he shouts as the call begins. "This guy was raping my daughter, and I beat him up. I need an ambulance."

At one point the frustrated and crying father tells the dispatcher that someone else on the scene is going to perform CPR and he is going to take Flores to the hospital himself: "This guy is fixing to die on me ma'am, and I don't know what to do."

The call ends after the father tells the dispatcher, "The sheriff is here."

He was actually willing to drive the guy to the hospital. Southern hospitality and all that.

If you ever want to kill someone and get away with it, all you have to do is claim they were molesting your 2 year old daughter, rub his junk on her body, call 911 after he's dead and perform CPR on his dead corpse until the paramedics arrive.

It might be appropriate to point out here that the vast majority of kids who are sexually abused are abused by family members or friends of the family.

And if the kids say anything, they are usually not believed, or made to think they are somehow responsible for having been abused.

I was hoping someone would point this out.

The dad was so distressed by what he had done, he became pretty much incoherant towards the end of the call he made to 911 to get medical aid for the guy he smacked.
