It seems to me like the ratio of quality posters to trolls and idiots has just fallen below an acceptable level, and the userbase is too small.
Totse always had tons of shit to sift through, but there were diamonds everywhere. There were so many different quality posters (there are 53 users currently online - I think I could name more great old Totse posters off the top of my head*) that generated so much quality original content that the forums seemed fresh and lively.
I came back for a bit 'cos I've got food poisoning and am laid up in bed. Already I'm sick of seeing the same arguments between the same trolls in what seems like every thread, and the same evolution of every thread from a promising topic to a mindless nothing.

It will be rose-tinted glasses to an extent but I've revisited the forums over the last week and I've not seen anything really epic or hilarious or creative. Just a lot of average threads and derailing. There isn't enough of a positive, contributory, active userbase to drown out the troll posts and flame wars. There's still some good discussion but it's all a bit flat to my eyes. Perhaps it is just that I was young when I discovered Totse.
Harsh moderation anyone?
EDIT: I'm glad the site is doing well in terms of visitor count (and presumably revenue). Perhaps it's just something you outgrow.

To build a prosperous zoklet, the people need a vanguard group to rally behind, with a leader that will work to build a free and prosperous forum. Our current admins are too lazy and content with their positions.

Zoklet is becoming a disgrace because the fucking mods wont activate new accounts. It took me two weeks to get my account fully activated. If a website doesnt attract new members it will slowly die (just like this site right now)
