Bruising after missed IV injection

So... yeah. STD posting about an IV injection.

No, I didn't do it. Due to alcohol withdrawal etc, I spent a recent morning constantly puking out the colours of the rainbow (I blame the gatorade), which led to me being admitted to hospital, bitching a lot to the triage nurse, and 5 hours later having 2 litres of saline/etc pumped into my veins over the course of 2 hours.

But yeah. At first it hurt more than any other IV needle I've had. Nurse wasn't sure it worked, decided to shoot saline into me to check. Yeah, my arm started swelling up. OK bitch, you missed the fucking vein and now there is saline floating around my arm.

Next attempt hurt even more but did the job and I felt like a champ in half an hour.

But yeah, the bruising. I like it. More than I though than I'd get from a simple missed 5mL saline injection above the wrist. lolz.

Yes I really need to get on that... though last time I did get some weed but I was too drunk to tell if it had any effect. Actually anytime I've done weed I've been too fucked up to tell if it did anything
