Why does everybody say Adderall causes anxiety?

In normal or recreational doses, I have yet to feel ANY anxiety due to it. In fact, the anxiety I did have is much better than ever.

Come on, someone has to know this. Almost every adderall user, ADHD or recreational, mentions anxiety. I can't be the only one who gets the opposite effect.

It happens when you start taking it for awhile and many of the pleasurable effects go away, and you take a higher dose due to tolerance.

When I was on Adderall it relieved my anxiety as well which I attribute to the fact that it boosts confidence a significant amount and most anxiety stems from a fear of an inability to manage a situation of some sort. When I was on Adderall it was less of "what if I fuck this up" in anxious situations and more of "yeah, I got this shit". Improved my social anxiety a ton as well.

I hate levoamphetamine, shit gives me horrible anxiety, body twitches, etc. and I can't even focus on it.

I really regret not at least trying out Vyvanse when my doctor offered it to me, reason I turned it down was because he wanted me to go from 60 mg Adderall IR/day to 50 mg Vyvanse/day and I thought I should've been given at least 70 mg but he wouldn't budge.

Why do they even put l-amp in adderall? I can't see why uncomfortable peripheral stimulation many get from it would help ADHD. If I did get that it seems like it'd make it worse.

I'm new to adderall but I've been taking stims regularly for about 6 months now, just before this I used 4-FA 5/7 days a week. 4-FA never lost it's pleasurable effects in that time, it only did when I did more than a certain amount in 1-2 days. And even then a short break brought it back. 4-FA could give me anxiety, but only if I took a MASSIVE dose. (750mg+, i usually use 350-400mg)

yooo you havnt done enough. man after a while youll start to get crazy paranaoi and anxiety when your off the adderall . now thats nothing compared to speed/ice that will make you go crazy paranaoi and youll end up with adhedonia and a very long series of depression but all in all its worth it
