Raced an S550.. driven by an 80ish year old woman hunched over the steering wheel. I lost. And I feel no shame losing to her. She was awesome. Mutual thumbs up were had.

FINALLY fixed a wastegate issue I've been having since I put the whole thing back together. Some time VERY close to getting it back together the passenger wastegate line tore. Finally diagnosed and replaced it last week. What a bitch... 5 hours at least and I had to wait for parts.

Anyways, with the issues fixed the car is running beautifully. Boost spikes 21psi and tapers to 15 by redline. I will be dynoing as soon as someone will take my money for it.

Car has MBC. 21psi tapers to 16. Runs 25% e85 75% 91 octane. It's almost too fast for the streets. And it's pretty near the edge of the stock injectors. Once I get this fuel pump installed and get some 72lb injectors I'll be able to run 22lbs to redline on full E85 for ~450awhp. If my clutch will hold it, that is. Been tuning this shit myself recently.

Even if it doesn't, I'll run lower sustained boost with E85. Why? Because I like E85. And I also like my engine... I wouldn't really feel comfortable running it at 450 for a long time. Rolled 134k miles today.

Regardless, it's fast, but I miss my Miata. The Miata was just heaps more fun. I want another one! Recently I've been fantasizing about a v8 Miata..

Well, to be fair, you consciously decided to purchase an Audi.

I know a few dozen TX2K* attendees that would disagree with it being too fast for the streets. I would also postulate that my 4xxwhp Thunderbird is likely as fast/faster than your Audi, and that it's not fast enough for the streets. As for TX2K*, IIRC <500whp qualifies as spectator power...

But, with the idea of a V8 Miata.... now you're learning.

I know it's not that fast, I just get excited . I floor it and look down and I'm doing 100 at the top of 3rd gear. And it gets there quick. I bet your tbird is faster too.

V8 Miata is hopefully in the future, right now I'm switching schools and looking for a job.
