Re: The Official Car Shopping Thread
My friend lives in a middle class neighborhood about a kilometer away at the end of a field there is a community center with a hall were people can rent out to have partys almost almost every weekend there is a social or party,That goes on until the wee hours of the morning the parking lot is usually full and sometimes there is cars all the way down the street. Just wondering I'f u guys recommend hitting it up. My friend could also walk inside without anyone suspecting a thing and go to the seperet room were people hang up there jackets maybet get a few wallets. Btw there is abbsalutleu no cameras and zero crime in my area.

Re: The Official Car Shopping Thread
Soo, this guy Kenny steals a shit load of stuff, expensive things and not so expensive, yet he's scared to go "car shopping". When you do this, do you typically check the whole car? or do you just open the front doors and see whats in the front seat? And do you mainly do it in neighborhoods? or can you do it in Parking lots as well?
Because this Kenny person was at the mall earlier and seen a big ass screen t.v in a car with the side door unlocked. But he wasn't sure about mall security that roams, and it was day time so he couldnt possibly take it and put it in his car without someone seeing.
But in a neighborhood, the risk is being caught by the owner right?

Go for it. If these parties aren't exclusive, you could even find car keys, etc in the coat pockets. Worst case scenario, someone sees you and you GTFO.

Should've grabbed the TV. Unless the owner sees you open his car, security probably won't even suspect you unless they see you looking suspicious, take it from that car and put it into yours. For all the employees know, you're returning the TV to the mall, or you bought it.
With car shopping, you're gonna hit a lot with little return. So being quick is ideal. Glove box, console, under seats and whatever's in plain sight. Trunk if you've got time/a button inside the car.

Re: The Official Car Shopping Thread
My mate George done this in the uk and found £8000 in the middle compartment. Also he learnt a lot of things in his time.
Dont know if its the same in US but BMWs here have a red flashing light on the center mirror. He said if they dont flash then the car is open.He said as he did this more and more he could identify if a car was open from just looking at it.

Re: The Official Car Shopping Thread
Can anyone who has been caught doing this share your story? im wondering what the punishment for this is. In my experience it was basically impossible to get caught unless you where careless or got unlucky and opened an old truck door that screeched and woke up the whole neighbor

My friend recently got caught and arrested. Here's the trick: If they don't catch you in the vehicle, or with any stolen property, plead the 5th amendment.
You have your rights. Also, he beat the system with the 5th because of a lack of substantial evidence. Charges were dropped.
Cops are also bored as fuck around here though.

Re: The Official Car Shopping Thread
What's up guys. I've been stalking this thread for about a year. I would never car shop myself, you know. But I have friends that did last night and the night before. They got so much good shit, 400 ft of copper wire. Two Gps's and two NICE radar detectors. $70 cash, perfectly split for the three people. Then shit got crazy, they hit a car in a very nice neighborhood, grabbed a laptop (when there was $2000 in golf clubs in the trunk; retards.)Here are some tips, don't EVER go with friends. Buy actual equipment as in, good gloves, a bandanna to cover your face, etc. Also, be quite if you go with someone who is loud they will fuck EVERYTHING up. Don't fucking play around with the flashlights, that's retarded. Also, don't forget to GRAB THE CORDS. There is no point in having a gps without a cord. Another thing my friends do is put any electronics in aluminum foil, this blocks all signals and tracking devices, they do this just as an added precaution. But the two MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER is to NOT BE LAZY and HAVE A PLAN. Lazy people don't get shit in life, so don't be a little bitch and park your car three houses down from the car you're hitting. Plan you're night out, have a meeting place if you're with people, my friends have gotten split up when cops follow them and this has led to certain people driving around all night acting like they were looking for their dog, have signals for when a light comes on or you see someone; a good one is to just scrape the bottom of your foot on the ground, it's distinct and quick to do. Hopefully this post helped some newer people. Good luck.
