So im doing my usual do at shop rite and this chick who 1, i have smoked herb with, and 2, sees me buy shit there all the time, decides to call me out while im leaving with a sandwhich and a juice drink. Even had a receipt in my hand, looked totally natural, but for whatever reason she fucks me and goes "did you pay for that!?" i said hell yea and kept walking and she goes hey! hey!

I dont know what it is with people who are willing to defend and represent a corporation that would leave them to starve in a heartbeat.

I would NEVER call someone out, chase them, or scrutinize them in any way. I don't give a fuck about lifters at my work. Im actually glad they are willing to take.

If you've been past her before without a problem, chances are she recently got wrote up or ragged by a manager for not being tighter on security. It's been my experience that people who work in groceries, retail and the like give less of a rat's ass the less money they make. After all, there's LP whose job it is to deal with that shit.

I worked at Shoprite when I was in college. They treat their employees very well. Supermarkets have unions and give you health insurance if you work there full time. I know people who have worked at Shoprite since they were teenagers and now make twenty something an hour. That is definitely not something to scoff at in this economy. I've had many jobs over the years ranging from retail to a 9-5 office job and out of all those jobs, Shoprite treated me the best.

Every time I get caught its at shoprite I fucking hate it.

The last time at my local shoprite was actually funny. I walk in with empty grocery bags in my pockets. I start to put all the food I wanna get in the bags. I get some sushi and the sushi chef gives me weird looks so I say "How's it going," and walk off. I continue to get more things and I keep seeing him follow me throughout the store, I don't care unless I know I'm being called out. I finally start to walk out the exit when I hear "YOU! STOP!" so I drop the bags immediately and run out. As I'm running the chef screams in the most ridiculous japanese accent ever "PHYUCK YOO!". So outside the window I see a cop shooting the shit and some cunt of a lady is walking in front of me very slow. So I walk slow with her (No one is chasing me cause the LP was upstairs and no one else cared). Walk naturally, turn the corner of the building and bolt for 3 blocks across the street.

The cashier is one thing for snitching, I get that but who in the fuck told the sushi chef "HEY CATCH THIEVES OR I FIRE YOU!" unless the gook fuck really cared about a company that doesn't know how to pronounce his name but those are asians for you (Fuck orientals).

Most employees won't call you out because they'll get fired if it turns out you're not really stealing. The business can get sued if somebody in their company accuses you out loud of a crime in public.
