Selling multiple copies of tickets to a sold out show?

One of my favorite bands is on a farewell tour right now, and all five dates in my state sold out. Tickets on Stubhub are going for $70- $80, and I'm trying to get one ticket to each of the five dates without spending a fortune. Right now, I'm considering buying one of those actual tickets (the instant download ones) for $70, then selling multiple copies of it online (Craigslist, fake email, paypal account with no credit card/bank account linked to it, proxy). I could also put on a mini-disguise and ask to meet up with a printed version of the copied ticket. Would that work? In the off chance I get caught, I'd simply say "I bought it from someone else and realized I couldn't make the date so I sold it....I think the guy I bought it from scammed me".

Sounds like a good idea to me. Get a prepaid celly, use it to meet up with people. Maybe a cheap ass rental car? So they can't find you with your personal vehicle.

Yes, it happens all the time, but fuck you. Rip off people who can afford it (companies and such) not individuals. Most of those kids spend the last of their money just to get there anyway.

What you could do is make a bunch of copies. See if they're actually scanning them or what. If they're scanning them, abandon the plan. If they're not, sell the copies at a reduced price. We do this sometimes to "miracle" people in when we can't afford it. All depends on the venue though.
