Urgently need to access Skype account, please help!

I urgently need to access a Skype account. I only know this person's Skype username. I need serious replies, please. It's a matter of security, not some fool's errand.

the only quick way would be to get access to their email account and then request a skype password reset. if you know the person you might be able to get in using their 'secret' questions

Then how would I go about getting into their hotmail account. Sorry but I'm a bit dense.

if you know the person well enough, try to log into their hotmail, when it fails it'll ask if you want a password reset. it'll then ask a bunch of personal questions before letting you do it.

once you have access to the email account, you can then do the same to their skype account, only skype will send a verification email back to their email address that you now have access to.

If you know where they live or are, you could try either breaking into the wireless network they're on or connecting to the network they're on and then using packet sniffers in promiscuous mode (Ettercap, Wireshark) to intercept of poison/spoof traffic. That is, if said person is connecting to the account still and you can locate them.

Otherwise google for some brute force programs that target skype, if you can get their IP address scan it with nmap and Nessus, attempt to exploit (at least google) any vulnerabilities you find, try to guess security questions, etc...

Otherwise make up some life and death story (though the truth is always good) and send a (photoshopped if needed) picture of you holding a written message begging them for HALP.

you could use something like hydra or ncrack to try and hit the site with HTTP GET/POST but I'd be surprised if that doesn't lock the account out or get you blacklisted. assuming accounts don't get locked out you'd want a good list of proxies, but hydra's the only brute force cracking tool I know of that works well through a proxy, and without adding in your own code, it doesn't switch proxies on the fly.
