WiFi transmitter USB card

Does something like this exist? Basically I want to be able to transmit a WiFi signal from a computer that is ethernet connected, instead of buying a wireless router.

im looking at this

it says 150 mbs transmitter, does that mean that it will send a wifi signal? Probably a derped out question but thanks in advance.

Yes buy one of those ,bridge the Ethernet or internet connection using windows network

the usb wifi would need to be setup as adhoc

its doable.

hmm. thank you. I wont have administrator privileges however so it may not be so simple.

Yeah, it's possible, should still be possible without admin rights. Ad hoc/ethernet bridge connections are a pain in the ass though. If you have any other options go for that.

If you don't have admin privlages then get them, this can be done by using a live cd ,like a password reset disk ,maybe John the ripper "works"

You can then make a new admin account
