Another thing is I think about 90% of people in the military are there because they didn't have another option. The other have families who have been in the military and yeah thats about it. If the military payed 120k a year a lot more people would sign up. It's a sort of back up plan for a lot of people. Then once the join they are brainwashed into thinking they are doing something insanely patriotic by killing other people who are guess what doing the exact same thing. Oh well.

It's kind of like how I think being a cop is a last resort for alot of people they aren't smart enough to study something real in college but being a cop is a garunteed 80 to 100 k or so plus benefits for your whole family and they get to pretend they're helping society
