Fargo printer ribbons?

Got ahold of a Fargo HDP600 ID printer. Unfortunately the ribbons were not included and they are the expensive ones(84013). Along with the HDP film I'm looking at $300!

Anyone know if the cheaper ribbons work or if there is a place to get reasonably priced ribbons?

You could always buy a Brand New Fargo HDP600 ID printer on eBay then when it arrives remove the ribbons and film and then return it for a full refund...

Just say that the seller shipped it to you without the ribbons and film and it was "not as described" file a dispute as such and you'll get a full refund from ebay.
