I am extremely bummed by this. I've maybe only six months ago began to truely respect them (it took me a forced listen of "Paul's Boutique"). he's been my favorite all this while and I've really been wondering how he's been doing as it had been no news he was at battle with cancer. I liked to believe that "no news is good news" shit. but after so long of it comes shockers like this. it's haaaaard to believe, man.
"To the five boroughs" and "License to Ill" have been on rotation for months in my truck now, along with with "Paul's" which has been in all week and started playing once I got in my truck after hearing the news.
god dammit.
Looks like I'll have to learn to respect the surviving members even more now, just incase it's anywhere else from here...
