I think I've actually heard or read somewhere that George Lucas has altered Star Wars so much since it's initial release, that the original theatrical release no longer exist or something like that.. I can get what he means.. As time goes on and computer animation, cgi, etc advances allow for greater visual impact.. appreciation for the older nostalgic arts is somewhat lost.. I liked the whole series honestly.. I think the transition from old to new, new to old is part of the ambiance..

I don't care about advanced CGI or whatever, I just don't fucking like any aspect of the originals you whiney cunt.
No wonder Star Wars fanatics are one of the most mocked sub cultures of all time. Go rub your fathers big hairy belly.
You get mad over people's taste in movies, I get mad at shit heads.
Kill yourself.

Is that what this is? Because it looks like some mean spirited sheeples ganging up on one person and abusing them over pure bullshit. You wouldn't have insulted me if it was just me and you talking, but you saw I was outnumbered so you decided to show your true sub-human colours back there.
I hate people like you. You honestly deserve to die.

Hah, someone got bullied as a kid. I have made similar jokes to people I deal with all the time, some people laugh, some people don't get it, you're the first to fly into a psychotic rage over it.

If Lanny wasn't a... female you wouldn't have said shit.
Lol on two counts there, son.
On topic, I really didn't care for 300, and I've tried watching The Royal Tenenbaums like two or three times and stopped watching at some point each time due to lack of interest.

Pretentious piece of garbage who wasted its potential, the movie takes place in a DREAM and the best you could come up with was turning the city upside down? Really?

That bit was cool, the shame was that it was only one scene. Then they're just in a hotel, although the rotating corridor bit was kinda cool, it wasn't particularly trippy. And then they're in the movie Goldeneye for some reason.
I also found it kind of hilarious how the magical sleep stuff they just put sort of near their wrist and it works. Like I assume they're putting in a needle there, but they never show that at all, not even the first time.
It's a good movie, but yeah like the Batman movies it works more on atmosphere than anything else. More of a broad brush than finer details.

Pretentious?
Only if you're too stupid to recognize it as a pure action movie...

I cant believe im about to defend Inception but...The reason there "dream sharing" technology looks shitty is because the entire movie (even the parts where they are supposedly 'awake') is all a dream. I dont get how no one saw the clues but your supposed to realise that the whole movie was a dream from beggining to end. Walls closing in during chase, Asian guy waiting for him somewhere after chase against all logic that he shouldnt know he should be there, His girlfriend is in across the street in another hotel room when she's going to kill herself. Theres all kinds of clues.
That's also why the "dreams" are so anchored in reality so that it would be harder to tell dream from reality. Having said all that though. I do hate Inception lol
The one thing I did like though is that it was basically a metaphor for movie making. Leo was the director, Bane was the actor, Robin was the crew or boom mic guy or something? Dont remember what I read his was. Juno was the screenwriter, Ras al Ghul was the producer and Scarecrow was the audience...

No one but Christopher Nolan could convince people shitty continuity issues have some deep meaning

No man, Im pretty sure the continuity errors are intentional for the reasons I explained. The suicide of his girlfriend is too big of an error to be a mistake. Anyway, Check out this article I found. This guy is alot more persausive on the subject then I can be
I believe that Inception is a dream to the point where even the dream-sharing stuff is a dream. Dom Cobb isn’t an extractor. He can’t go into other people’s dreams. He isn’t on the run from the Cobol Corporation. At one point he tells himself this, through the voice of Mal, who is a projection of his own subconscious. She asks him how real he thinks his world is, where he’s being chased across the globe by faceless corporate goons.
She asks him that in a scene that we all know is a dream, but Inception lets us in on this elsewhere. Michael Caine’s character implores Cobb to return to reality, to wake up. During the chase in Mombasa, Cobb tries to escape down an alleyway, and the two buildings between which he’s running begin closing in on him – a classic anxiety dream moment. When he finally pulls himself free he finds Ken Watanabe’s character waiting for him, against all logic. Except dream logic.
Thats what it was, but it wanted to be much more, idiot.
I'm not sure whether it's Inception or most of society that is pretentious. The movie didn't try hard to be deep from what I remember, but the people who watched it tried so hard to make it seem deep. It was just an action movie with an interesting twist (it takes place in dreams!). That was enough to get retards thinking it was deep and hard to understand.
