Milligram scale.

Where can you pick up a decent, fairly priced MG scale? I've been checking amazon, obviously, and they have a few decently priced ones from $15-30ish, a few for like 10, and then some spoons.

Can you get these locally though, if you go to a farmers market, or a Co-Op? Or maybe a rummage sale or goodwill?

What type/brand/kind do you use? Or if you don't, how do you measure out dosages of things?

I've always measured my 4-FA with a 0.1g scale, worked well enough. When I smoked AM-2201 every day which obviously required much smaller doses, I just eyeballed it and after a while I knew what the amount I needed looked like.

Well would that still work? For example, I'm thinking of 4-FA, too. I read on wikipedia the starting recreational dosage is 75-100mg. Could I measure that out in 10mg increments?

Or am I misunderstanding and just plain confused? Do scales go by some weird thing, where 10 mg scale measures in greater increments? And 0.1mg measures in anything up to 10mg or something? I have no idea, I'm just guessing. I used to just eyeball stuff, but I know that's not safe to do.

What would be the benefit of a 0.1mg scale?

A friend of mine used to work at a lab, one time they ordered new scales, needless to say i asked for one of the still functional old ones. And now i am the proud owner of a precision balance that is accurate in the microgram range.

What the fuck are you saying. A mg scale is precise to +/-1mg. A 10mg scale is precise to +/-10mg.

A 1mg scale rounds to 1mg.

Could be anywhere from 0.5mg to 1.4mg.

Alright. That would mean a lot to me. Thing is, I have $1.29 to my name until July (I know, I fail).

I might be able to scrounge up more, or find some stuff of mine to pawn, but otherwise would sometime in early July be fine with you?

I know, that's why I said precise, not accurate. It shows the decimal places up to 1mg. I believe Shulgin said something to the effect that if you need to measure 20+mg of a drug, use a mg scale. For <10mg, use an even more precise scale... so you, get the precise scale you can get.
