Leveraging a Community

During my many years of studying and participating in the real estate market I've never come across a subject matter more bizarre and more fascinating than the process of leverage. You see, leverage is when you foreclose on every single home on a city block and then shut the entire community down indefinitely. Up until 2008 this had never really been done before because the real estate market was far too strong, but ever since the crises hit there have been a few leverages that have been successfully pulled off in a few cities across the country. Basically a leverage is like the "lion hunt" of the market. Once you have pulled this off, your name is set in stone in the financial arena. I've seen some pictures of this shit and let me tell you... It's just beautiful. Picture a city block of run down homes, all of them empty, with the streets and the fire hydrants plated in gold... I'm not even kidding... It brings tears to one's eyes...
