Haven't read the rest pf the thread except OP. I would seriously consider finding a new room mate. He seems a bit crazy and if he's already touching you and stuff he might just be working up the nerve to try to do something.

Valid response. Thanks. The problem is, quite frankly, catching him sober. He literally disappears for about 3 or 4 days of the week, and I am busy as fuck lately. I haven't even seen him since the incident last Friday. I have a tendency to be too nice/a fucking pansy. I really don't want to further alienate a friend, but everytime I'm around him I'm either uncomfortable or he just turns into more and more of an asshole.

Think you have to be 21 to legally acquire one of those here - I'm currently 20 - also, the whole reason for posting this and bringing up the robbery incident is that I've been a paranoid(AKA, probably not a great candidate for a gun owner - but I am going to look into it in the future) mess as a result of many incidents with crime since moving to this 'hood. I legitimately thought that it was just my anxiety going apeshit on me until last Friday.

Thanks everyone for the relatively/moderately serious responses. I know it's kind of obvious - but it felt good to type that shit out and talk about it without totally fucking over someone that actually has been a very good friend the majority of the time I knew him. Think it's time to sever contact. I don't have time to find a subletter, find a new place, and move all my stuff - - but my lease runs out August 31st. Last I spoke to him he wanted to move out too, and wants me to come with as well as find a couple others. That's not gonna happen, but I am hoping that he'll find a subletter(who is hopefully relatively sane) and gtfo and I can just let my lease run it's course.
