I just got a PS Vita

What should I buy?

lol. Sell it off for $220 and buy a 3DS. Really, this isn't just me being biased, the Vita has like, 2 games worth touching. If you buy a 3DS, you can co-op on Heroes Of Ruin with me and Xippilli. Maybe rebuy a Vita later or something. Fantastic hardware with literally no notable software, sadly.

Uncharted is decent, as is Gravity Rush and MGS HD. Also Everybody's Golf and FIFA are good if you like those sorts of games.

Resistance is a mixed bag, the gameplay is alright and the engine seems solid enough but it just feels like they half assed everything and the sound is terrible.

There's nothing amazing out yet, I got mine for free as well but I think I'm going to hang on to it until Christmas at least and see what comes out.

I had carded one recentley.. waste of time I played gravity and was bored after 1 hour sold it to my cousin for 70$. Even the 3ds that I thought was gonna be dog shit compared to the vita is way better .

I've been meaning to buy both the 3DS and PS vita.

The latter only so I could play Castlevania: Dracula x chronicles... the PSP emulators can't handle it.

Personal tastes apply, I'm a huge FIFA fan and got really bored of it on Vita since they swapped back to the old tackling style. The touch to shoot feature was actually really good too.

No but really, I'm giving you pretty much the best course of action at this point. I bought a Vita myself and quickly realized I had made a massive mistake when the release list for the next few months included only 2 types of games:

A) Shit ports
B) Nothing at all.

As I said, fantastic hardware with shittacular software. I'd wait until it actually starts getting games and shit to rebuy it (since you have so much cash) and you'll probably get it at a reduced price and a revised SKU at that time, too. Just like with the 3DS, early adopters got the shaft, even though we got the Ambassador Games and shit. Vita's a great device being handled by a retarded company who haven't been good for years. PS2 and PSX were fantastic, PS3 is the best bang ffor your buck but PSVita is pretty devoid of all life. So yeah, I guess you could buy like, the 2 games worth playing on it now, it's just a waste of cash IMO. Those 2 games are Gravity Rush + Wipeout 2048, and Wipeout isn't really that great if you own another version on the PS3 or something.

Again, if there were amazing killer apps on it, I'd tell you. But there aren't, so fucking play Heroes of Ruin with us, bro
