Actually, in the country I live in (Australia), you need a photo ID and a bank card to get a mobile phone SIM card. All phones are on record. It's really shitty.

Anyway, WarDriving obviously helps you out, the Andrews aren't smart enough to track anybody using their WiFi and, even if they do, you just drive off. Why an iPod Touch or other portable WiFi device?

A) No viruses
B) When you use somebody's WiFi, you have literally created a wireless network, like, you plugged a network cable into your device, wirelessly. I caught some bastard using my WiFi like this and I used it to get access to his computer and find his address and plant a keylogger. Then I planted a file in his computer "Hello, Motherfucker. Stealing my WiFi?" and kept altering the webpages he tried to load with stuff like "I'm coming to get you asshole. I have a rifle trained to your head at this very moment." and shit and he got shit scared, so we had a "chat" about what I would do to him. Someone who wasn't me stole his CC info and bought Porn with it.
