I'm on disability due to a neurological problem, they expect me to work 15 hours a week and supplement the rest. I can't live on that much (in a very expensive town, trying to get out) so end up forcing myself to work 30, get yelled at by my doctor for making myself worse, then when I crash hard, government says I faked disability.
Then I see other people at disability employment services (aussie btw) who would be perfectly capable of working, but, one guy for example has aspergers, doesn't have to work a day of his life, but the government pays for tertiary education for him. What's the point if he won't contribute? I've said frequently that I'd love a 40 hour week job, just can't be physical, but they won't help since I work at KfC.
