I don't really care about the different names that Americans have for things. If they want to call "pavements" "sidewalks" and "lifts" "elevators" then that's cool. But the "I could care less" thing is just fucking dumb. On another international linguist point, do you know the French have no phrase for "Good morning"? They have the words good and morning but they never thought to combine them.
