Default Shoplifting From STAPLES.

I need to shoplift some $300 magnetic printer ink from STAPLES tomorrow, and I need to know what kind of anti-theft devices would there be on the ink, that I would have too look for, when in the bathroom.

I'm not going to just walk out, because they have rent-a-cop patrols in the shopping center.

I actually think there may not be beeper things at the door, I don't remember any existing, but if there are, where would I go about searching for these devices?

STAPLES almost always has security sensors at the door. Your best bet is using a alphas3 key to open the container (if any) any remove it. Do not walk out with it yet tho. All printer inks have a RFID strip inside the box and to open the box with bare hands is fucking hard so i would recommend a roofing blade to take it out easily/ Staples has a lot of blind spots so you can make it with ease! Good Luck!

By box, do you mean the actual ink cartridge.

When I stole high end things from Staples they were fucking covered in RFID tags
So best thing to do I think is to make a magic bag and stick it in there and walk out that way alarm won't go off and you don't have to worry about finding them all.

No i mean the box that covers the cartridge. After you get the box apart you will see that the cartridges are covered in a aluminum foil which are safe to pocket anytime!

true magic bags would work like magic! but i am just too afraid on using them because the chances of that shit working are very low! Maybe i am wrong but i will def give it a go someday hopefully!

It worked 100% for me you just gotta make sure you use enough foil... say one roll should be enough.

I've made them with 5-6 layers and it worked fine.

Just do foil, duct tape, foil, duct tape, foil....ehh you get it.

stick a cell phone in it and call it, it should block the signal, make sure you have the top folded over a few times.

I used to use at least 10 layers each side to be safe. Just make sure its nice n thick. Then I would do the duct tape at the end.
I wouldn't bother doing foil, duct tape, foil etc. waste of time IMO.

Could I encase the ink in a ball of aluminum foil, preventing censors, but still fitting it in my pocket? 10 layers is more then enough, right? They had no censors in the bathroom, and I think I remember some by the door. No surveillance, or it wasn't watched.

For the amount of work required to do that I would razor blade the package, take out the rfid, then pocket it and leave.

What do you need magnetic ink for out of curiosity?

Does the product have to be dismembered? Or just the box containing it? And I don't think RFID is the same as a magnetic strip, is it? With all this bullshit, it would be easier to take off with it beeping.

Nope, not true, that's not a reliable way to test it. I remember reading something about the cell phone signal and anti-theft stuff signals being different frequencies.

RFID strips communicate with security sensors through means of radiomagnetic waves. I don't really get what you are asking though. The product does not have to be dismembered. Open the package and look for security inside. If there is none inside or on the outside then pocket it. If there is anything on the inside or outside cut/peel it off and pocket the item without the tags.

I've stolen shit from the staples near my house many times. Just go into the bathroom turn the water on and bring a sharp knife to open it. The employees in the store probably don't give a shit. Some one once just walked out with a computer monitor.

Do you go into a stall once you turn the water on or do it at the sink?

Is that a 100% test of whether it works or not? Because i was wanting to try this, but never knew of a for sure way to test it short of actually using it or putting something in it and tossing it through the sensors or something similar.
However, now that i think of it im sure theres a couple ways i could test it.. now that i think about it

That is good enough info.

I am putting together a dell stealing plan. The only problem is if they don't have the XPS 730's on the shelves at staples. I have decided staples. I will go to staples tomorrow morning, and check for the XPS 730's, then put it, and the ink in the carriage, then leave with it. If no PC, I will take it to the bathroom, and do the tag removal. I want to steal two dimensions, from two stores a day, and sell them on craigslist. I am a greedy motherfucker. If I sell them for $1,500 each, that's $3,000 a day.

Back to the electro magnetic tags that go off when you walk through the towers....

I personally tested 20 layers of foil in making a magic bag. It was wrapped tight and sealed. Once in a while the phone would not ring when I tested it, it was nowhere near 100%. It did not work in target or wal-mart.

When I posted this on totse some helpful people who are smarter than me explained how cell phones cannot be compared to the radiomagnetic wavelength used on the EAS towers. One is much lower than the other.

I have always seen a ton of people claim that they have used magic bags with great success so maybe some one knows something I do not?

Am I missing something or did you just say you want to take two computers into the bathroom?

Also, yes, more info on magic bag would help.

It will be hard to effectively use mace while carrying two computers.

Also, I was in a store today. Someone bought an ipod touch and it was on the table right next to me. Wish I had grabbed it and ran.

Possible outcomes of doing this:

1. You ad an assault charge to the theft that they've got you on video for.

2. You end up macing yourself, or the LP actually ends up macing you while you're macing him, and you saunter around the parking lot like a drunk douche until the real cops come.
