Default Revolution in Britain/UK?

Hi.

If there should ever be a revolution in UK, what would their populace fight their government with? I ask this because I am under the impression that weapons of any sort (not just firearms) are heavily regulated, and that the vast majority of the population is unarmed.

Thoughts?

Chairs, knifes, swords, homemade explosives.

Weapons are scarily easy to make.

Anything can be a lethal weapon in the right hands.

The only problem is, people don't know how to stand together for what is right, they only know how to fight each other over small stupid stuff.

You can't fight guns with chairs/knifes/swords; also I imagine the government would place a ban on chemicals that are precursors for explosives.

It's not PC to fight with guns in england.

They'd also have to pass a law to make that comply with Health and Safety so the whole guns argument is out of the question.

What if you had ALOT of chairs?

If there was a revolution, it would be military lead / supported / initiated with public aproval. I am sure they would share. If it was a mass public revolt against the government, the military would go with the public. Public and military opinion have come very close to civil unrest in the last 60 years in the UK that the govt. has changed its ideas. A few times.

They can't. And the laws passed restraining guns were made so they can't.

I live in suffolk, shotguns are pretty common here, I will be putting in for a FAC and getting some rifles once I get of my behind, its such a chore though. bare in mind though that less than a percentage of the police have guns, a fair bit of the army is several thousand miles away and I doubts soldiers would turn on their own nationals anyway if they were to be called in to put an insurrection down.

I think you're confusing a revolution with organised teenage faggotry.

Everybody exaggerates how difficult guns are to obtain whilst shootings are happening every week or so in London.

Anyway, if the British were to fight anybody, it'd be the French, not the government.

You must be unclear as to just how many chemicals can be made into a deadly explosive.

Anyway, if the people of Britain were to really revolt (Why? I don't know), they'd get better results through civil disobedience than violence.

Violence against the State or the "Man", too often turns into violence against your own neighborhoods. Ghandi defeated Britain at the height of it's power without firing a shot.

Guns are regulated to buy

There is a gun shop down the road from me. I'm fairly certain me and a choice few revolutionaries could bash his door down, walk in and arm ourselvs quite easily.

That and illegal firearms are abundant.

Bows are unregulated, one-shot (Might not be the term I mean) shotguns and rifles are easy enough for farmers/landowners to get. A brick applied to a head without warning would suffice for an individual target.

Of course, you would only have to use these against "properly" armed opponets once...

As a Scot by birth and ancestry, I assure you they're not. However, their perception as such could possibly be used for psycological effect south of the border.

Those interested in legitimately taking up shooting in the UK should look into this for a start.

http://ukgundealer.com/

I imagine you could order the parts seperately and try to put the gun together yourself, it'd mean less if no paper work (depending on where you order from) but cost you a bit more. It's easier to ask your dealer if he knows anyone who can get you one. Guns and drugs are everywhere.

Shut your hole, you are a disgusting racist. you honestly think you are superior to others? I would say all people are equal, but if they share the opinion you do than they clearly are not.

We are superior to them, explains half the reason itself when half of the smelly currymunchers come here from their country to get a better life. Expect it all served on a silverplate as well as being entitled to more benefits than any Brit, free medicines, you name it they're always first on the list for everything and then treat the place like shit anyway; give me one reason why I SHOULDN'T hate them.

Not to mention you see brit culture decreasing every day. Can't even hang saint george's flag up outside your house now because it's considered "racist".

English gentleman my arse, GTFO paki lover. Infact go over to pakistan and see for yourself if they see you as equal, or if you get half of the help that they get given.

yeah now that I think about it, most governments are assholes when it comes to civil liberties. Best bet is probably some 3rd world country where the gov't just doesn't give a fuck or doesn't have the manpower to enforce such draconian laws (Somewhere in South America or Southeast Asia). Either that or a first world country that hasn't gone to shit yet. (Canada, Sweden, etc.)
