Getting random redirections

Sometimes when I click a link it takes me to a completely random thread or page. This is not an infrequent occurance.

A recent example: I wanted to go to my CP, but it took me to a thread in Mission Support.

I've had a few weird redirects too, most are usually to the porn forum, but the worst one was when I ended up in BC.

I've cleared my cookies, but it happened after that, so I'm not sure what's up?

I think it's related to the changes he's making with some of the new stuff.

Okay, just a second ago I tried to enter the thread in GS "Ass Cock Cunt etc.". It redirected me to a thread titled "Incest Porn", posted by Samguy, lawl. It was funny, but I still wonder why it redirects so randomly?

I got a random redirection during school once when I was 14. Shit was embarrassing, girls never seemed to get them though so I think the sysadmin was just being sexist.

I can't even begin to fix things unless I know what URL did it. There are 1.6 million urls on this site and I am NOT clicking them all...

So far nobody has given me a URL that redirected them to the wrong place...

When that happens... hit page back and capture the url you tried to connect to when you got the message... record it into notepad with the date/time. If zok knows what url to look at, he can go into the master-logs and check the activity surrounding that particular transaction.

I had to recreate the url. It was when I clicked the "most recent post" blue arrow thing instead of the thread title, hence the "new-post" in the url.

I tried several times to check the profile of dog with shifty eyes to compare his start date with that of his apparent sock puppet, and I keep getting redirected in error to the page "Conversation Between dog with shifty eyes and Viscera Eyes"

It makes for some interesting randomness when you're high and just end up in some mindfuck thread.

Most of the time I'd say it's trying to get to my User CP that ends up with the redirects.
