Quick Collabs on some Cool Electron Music?

Alright, so I had an idea, well rather, am lacking ideas in one area, needing them in others. So I've been continuing to mess around with some electronic music, mostly some chill stuff. The techno music I've been listening to lately mainly centers around Aphex Twin, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Bogdan Racyzinski, and Boards of Canada.

My idea though: I have some basic song parts down on Fruity Loops and shit, and would like to flesh them out more, and am also looking for more music to work with on my own. So, if anyone would want to help add on to some stuff I've started, or have me add on to what you've got let me know. I'd also like to get better at doing mixes, so if you'd like to hook me up with a song for me to mix, or would like to mix a song I did, you know the drill.

Mainly I'm just looking to learn more. And if that means making some cool ass music in the process I'm down. I just need more shit to mess with, and I don't have enough psychedelics to keep these crazy ideas flowing.

damn those are some FL sounds...don't use them, get vst plug ins...

to start with those have really good sound banks for techno music, any kind of music actually, but they have a massive variety of sounds...don't use the sounds that come with FL, even the sytrus ones, they suck...they shouldnt be hard to find, just search for torrents

I did like a remix to the james bond theme a couple years ago fuckin around with hypersonic 2 when I first got it, it will give u a good idea of some of the sounds you will get using hyper vs. what you get with FL...and I really didn't use a lot, there is a tonnnne of sounds.

edit: ya I know ur asking about colabs and what not....but, you also mentioned getting ideas flowing, getting a good sound bank will help, when things just sounds better will motivate you a lot...and the more sounds you have the more inspiration you will get to make new crazy sounding shit.....

Thank you a ton man, that's pretty cool. And yeah, there was always something about the FL sounds that twisted me the wrong way, but I thought it was me just doing a shitty job with them. I'll have to check out those suggestions, and I'm sure I will have some more questions in a day or two, so thank you for the invitation man.

Its a great site, great community for musicians, you can collab with so many people, invite them to help work on a project of your own, ask to join theirs, or get invited to collab on something...its pretty cool, I've been a member for a bit over a year now...the community is pretty big, has amateurs and pros all willing to work together, people who only plays drums, people who only sing, and people who do it all...

I'd love to collab I have Fl studio9, reason4 and ableton live 8

BTW Fl studio does have pretty shitty stock sounds, but it has so many native plug ins you can do whatever the fuck you want. Don't listen to anyone that tells you you need a certain plug in or sound bank to make good music. People made awsome tracks 10 years ago with alot less options than you have with FL studio.

P.S. Sytrus is an amazing synth, if you don't like the presets than MAKE YOUR OWN.
