Wouldn't look good on anything. If I saw that here I'd be writing an equipment violation faster than those tires wear out...

Dangerous, I'd say... They only have like 50mm of tire in contact with the road, imagine how horrendous the braking and emergency handling is.

What makes me lol the most is that VIP style dictates that one should run a coilover setup, and that airbags are blasphemy.

Coilovers are for performance cars. Airbags are for veee-dubbbz and limos.

Yeah..

What are you saying? That it's idiotic for them to run coilovers suspension when it is so tremendously compromised by their demon camber? That's a japs for you. I like what they do to vans though, the Dodge rape van trend has produced some pretty good shit.

I suppose in your old world you'd tell me that leaf springs are the way to go .

You know what I was getting at.

Besides, what's wrong with coilovers for a performance car? Incredibly simple and effective concept.

Nothing, it's just that they're not specifically a performance part, performanceswise they are the same as a spring/damper or spring/strut (i.e. damper acting as strut).

PS: Did you know: dampers acting as struts are actually kinda bad for performance since the side loads on the damper make it prone to sticking in place. It increases the tendancy to boulevard wobble and is a bit detrimental to road holding, probably amongst other things. That's why in my mind for all out performance, gogo double A arm, or perhaps something better still (if you can be bothered designing it).
