Nobody should be so desperate for alcohol that they'd drink flavor extracts of all things. At least buy a cheap bottle of something drinkable.

I've never tried it, but technically any extract with alcohol in it would get you really wasted, but you'll probably get really sick too, cuz its extract, not a proper beverage. Better mix that shit up good.

I wasn't planning on doing this. I would never do something from totse text files without extensive research before hand.

To the person who said plenty of chances to get drunk in highs school, I know I'm in high school I was just wondering if this was a legitimate idea.

Edit: To the person who says the title is misleading, if you were to steal the mint extract as the author of the text file offered as an alternative, it would make it free.

Lol, my friends and I did that when we were like 13. We each grabbed 2-3 bottles of beer and 2-3 bottles of mint extract from our respective homes, drank them in the woods, and got mad fucked up.

I can't speak for vanilla extract, but I can sure tell you that mint extract is not easy to get down. It's not even the high alcohol content, it's the power of the mint flavor. You can't really wash it out of your mouth by drinking something else either.

Make older friends. I don't know of a single person over 19 who won't buy alcohol for kids. Failing that, find out if any of your friends have older friends or siblings. Honestly, I had no problem getting alcohol all throughout high school.

Just don't do dumb things like drinking extract. Its not an effective way to drink, and you'll regret it.

If you really wanted, I could get you a link to a site teaching you how to make alcohol yourself.

Once on this television show called "Intervention" this sad soccer mom would get drunk off of the green equate mouthwash from walmart. She had them stashed all around her house and would even go to sleep with one, just in case she woke up.

I have three different people who boot for me every weekend. This just seems much cheaper, but looking at what people have said it's a bad idea. I just wanted to present it to this forum to gain insight from other people because when I first looked at it I labeled it as stupid, but then thought I would give it an ask to see if it may actually be legit.

If you go to the aisle the extracts are in and get some mint extracts your set.

The shits 90% alcohol i believe. you get the tiny visine sized bottles of it say two or three and drink them one at a time in a tall glass of soda and you will definetly get shitfaced.


Vanilla extract is nasty , its the same amount of alcohol as vodka and tastes disgusting. Mint is the way to go

Me and my friend used to make our own "wine" in highschool. Just throw some welches frozen grape juice into a gallon milk jug, along with some water, sugar, and yeast, put a condom or balloon with holes in it over the opening, and let that shit ferment for two weeks. Wed mix it with sprite cuz it tasted gross on its own.

Theres a whole procedure and recipe, but I cant be assed to write it out. You can easily find one on the interwebz.

It's funny this thread popped up , I was thinking of lifting a handful of bottles this week actually.

Just walk up the aisle and slide the tiny little bottles into the sleeve of your jacket. It's so inconspicuous and theres no way to see you do so. Once you have 4-5 of the tiny little visine like mccormick bottles in your sleeve just walk a few steps and put both hands into your pocket. The bottles will fall in and no camera would ever assume you just lifted anything

You'd need a distillation setup, and if you had that, you might as well make moonshine from scratch... Not trying to get alcohol out of mint extract.

why would you want to extract the mint extract its 90 percent alcohol anymore and you'd get chemical burns from it.

Pure alcohol will easily do that , which is why you must mix these higher extracts pretty well

Probably the worse thing about drinking mouth wash is the additive Methyl salicylate to prevent abuse, even though it doesn't taste too bad- like winter green, since its a wintergreen scented chemical. Ingesting high amounts can cause anything from vomiting, to coma, to kidney failure. And if ingesting large amounts of it once doesn't cause your kidneys to fail, the person drinking mouth wash is probably a hopeless alchy, and will ingest large amounts over and over again, which will lead to kidney damage, then maybe someday kidney failure, followed by the failing of all of their other worthless organs.

If you manage to get your hands on such an apparatus, just be careful with what you do with it. Alcohol is highly flammable, and if you distill at the wrong temperature, you will get toxic types of alcohol that you don't want to be drinking. There is a specific temperature for distilling ethanol, but if you do it wrong, a portion of methanol will also end up in your glass, and methanol is bad.

Unless you are willing to do a lot of research and manufacture your own spirits very carefully, I'd stick to store bought.

I drank 3 strong extracts (1 or 1.5 oz) and jack shit happened. i felt a mild dirty buzz.

even 1 oz of that in 20 oz is horribly taste-able.

I went to my local grocery store and picked up a mint extract. Added it to a bottle of Coca-Cola, and let me tell you, it works very well. My buddy and I think that the mint extract is good, and it does not have a bad taste once you mix it with a whole two litre bottle.

The buzz you'd get from just one is so tiny. If anything skip the soda idea , the carbonation will make your stomach feel like shit in that amount.


You should get some mint extract and just mix it with a tea or maybe add it to some ice cream or something. Personally Id say dilute it with a tiny amount of water to reduce the burn and just drink it all at once. Once nasty sip is worse than 20 gross sips

This DOES work. Most extracts are >=90% alcohol. It's ethyl-alcohol too, so you don't have to worry about getting murder too hard.

he was laying on the curb puking his guts out, couldn't keep water down, couldn't really move at all, and didn't seem to care.

Went up to the local "No Frills" today and looked at a few things. Most extracts contain ethyl alcohol, mint extract and imitation rum extract contain alcohol (no ethyl in front).
