Nickleback is probably my least favourite band. I truly don't appreciate hearing songs by that band come onto the radio. I heard one song by them that was OK. The rest put me in a weird mood in which I view the world as something negative that I can't put my finger on.

Rap is an artform.. making words of the english language both mean something, and flow/rhyme, and then it's put to different melodies/beats. You can't disrespect rap itself.. well, you could, but that would make you extremely ignorant. It's the fucking idiots that made it big, and the personality types often associated with it that are to be disrespected.. the ones that glorify being a useless piece of crap & a criminal. It's only good if the person doing it is really good at it.
I didn't like rap very much until Eminem came out in 1999. He's so good at it, I love listening to it because it's amazing HOW good he is at it. No one is better at what they do than he is at what he does. Now, if I hear another rapper spit something that takes a lot of talent.. something with good subject matter or awesome flowing and rhyming, I enjoy it. GOOD rap is really a work of art, as it takes a fuck of a lot of talent to make rap worth listening to.. but with regards to the rap music that IS good, rap can be absolutely incredible. ESPECIALLY the old Eminem freestyles, and even most of the latest ones. To hear words put together like that, rhyming certain words to say something absolutely sick.. it's fucking awesome.
