True Romance
Does anyone else remember this movie? I feel like with all the hype about Tarantino in the last few years, it would have been more well-known. I actually havn't heard anyone mention it in years and everytime I ask about it, people seem to have no idea what it is. I just went out and bought it the other day, because I once owned it but no longer can find it. I watched it again, and I'm ecstatic with my buy.
Who else remembers this badass flick? It's really a pretty noteworthy, bitchin' movie.

Re: True Romance
Yeah, it's amazing. I'm surprised more people haven't heard of it.

Re: True Romance
Hell yeah, great movie.
I kind of wish they didn't rearrange the script into a linear structure - but it's still a fantastic movie.
The scene about Sicilians? That is just perfect script, perfect acting.
And the "I love you" scene in the beginning? Best in the movie history.

Re: True Romance
Yeah it's good but sometimes a little too mushy.
Although I love it, that music that plays whenever something emotional happens plays a little too often.

Re: True Romance
I think it's funny that the one scene Christopher Walken was in is probably the most memorable in the movie.
But yea, highly enjoyable movie. Gary Oldman was awesome as per usual. In fact, most of the cast was great.

Re: True Romance
Nahhhh, this movie is pretty entertaining in an action movie sort of way but not a whole lot of substance or any of that shit. It's basically Quentin Tarantino's wet dream as a teenager. (Video store clerk who starts seeing a stripper and goes on an epic crime odyssey).
I think, since Tarantino came up with the story for this movie and Natural Born Killers, that his one idea for a movie was interpreted very differently by two directors (Tony Scott and Oliver Stone). I guess I just prefer Natural Born Killers.

Comic book store.
"Hey! Get some beer, and some, uh....cleaning products."
Def made a honey bear bong right after seeing that movie. Might still have it. Fun as fuck to smoke out of, especially if you use warm water an' honey as bong water.

I think he was referring to Tarantino's previous profession.
