Default Calea Zacatechichi (dream herb) review

For those interested in lucid dreaming, you might want to check out Calea Zacatechichi, or just those who have an interest with dreaming in general.

Iamshaman sells capsules that are WAAYYYY overpriced, making it like $4 per night to use them, from my experience less than a gram of foliage in a tea works wonders, so just saying...an ounce of foliage isn't too expensive.

Anyways, just before going to bed I steeped for about five minutes a bag of camomille/lotus mix and a little less than a gram of calea zacatechichi. It tastes like shit but with a chaser around that's no big deal. Long story short, clearest and most vivid dreams I've ever had! It was like watching multiple movies throughout the night then waking up and I had the memories still of very long dreamscapes. The dreams actually were practical for me, they showed some things I'd pushed to the back of my mind in daily life and gave some insight into some specific things in life, which is always nice.

It's a little intense and from subsequent experimentation I bet there is a type of "tolerance", either my mind not wanting to have these heavy and vivid dreams every night or in the conventional sense. Good stuff though , highly recommended!

(feel free to move to NfHC, I don't know how this ended up in SW )

I found some on ebay. 28 grams for $6.90 + $3 shipping. Question for OP. You say that you made tea with less than a gram? Everywhere I found online said that you make it with between 20 and 40 grams. Should I try it with a low amount first?

Well, I'm not bullshitting you if that's what you're implying. My head could be on backwards regarding weight but I was thinking the size I used was roughly the same size I'd call a "gram" of bud...so like half of my tea strainer thing. If I weren't so lazy I'd be emperical and if you want some scientific exploration of this I'm willing to rig up a homemade scale. It comes as a mix of both stems and leaves so I'm sure the different materials you'd use would have different effects.

This has been self-experimentation and I'd figure I'd just use the lowest amount possible and work my way up. I'm no expert - just sharing my experience.

40 grams of the herb would be ridiculous. It'd fill up the whole pot and would be a waste as well; the water can only hold so much of the chemicals.
When I've made herbal teas I use about a teaspoon, which I'm guessing is 2-3 grams.
And I've noticed the effects, yeah.

Alrighty then. I'll get some and try it out. I just didn't want to order 100 grams thinking I'm gonna only get 5 or so doses out of it. Thanks.
